PROJECT
Arthurs Seat Skylift totally replaced the iconic Arthurs Seat Chairlift, which had failed eight years earlier. We were engaged to construct the new upper and lower terminals. Challenges included: the environmentally sensitive area, cultural overlay, a high-risk bushfire region, very steep terrain, as well as the media attention.
DETAILS
The construction works included: a café, kiosk, meeting rooms, offices, amenities, undercover parking and storage areas for the new gondolas. Due to the steep incline to the summit, substantial retaining walls and landscaping were also included in our building scope.
