George Rydell were engaged to undertake a three-stage construction process. Each stage involved the demolition of an existing building and the replacement of that structure. All buildings demonstrated the Architects willingness to provide clever and functional design with bold statements of colour throughout providing a tremendous atmosphere for learning.
DETAILS
The building scope consisted of: Cooking & Discovery Building, an Eight Classroom Building with multi-function central area and a new administration building. During these stages we also undertook the construction of a large ramp for the disabled, covered walkways, installation of a two-level personal lift, re-asphalting of large play areas, an amphitheatre and synthetic basketball court, as well as renovating the school library and construction of a new teacher’s car park.
